WHERE TO DAD?
One day, as they rode their motorbike back to the iERA centre in Tanzania from attending a nikah ceremony of one of the new Muslims; our duat came across an elderly man by the name of Ng’ala.
They stopped and asked him if they could offer him a ride to where he was headed. The old man, on his way home, was very happy to accept. On the way, they casually chatted as they approached his village.
A few days later the team visited the village for dawah and the duat decided to pay Mr Ng’ala a surprise visit! Once they inquired about him, the duat were taken right to his doorstep!
You should have seen the delight on his face when he recognised his guests! The elderly man served them something to drink with peanuts as they warmly caught up with each other since their last encounter. The duat gradually redirected the conversation to dawah, as that was their main purpose for the visit, and Mr Ngala carefully listened to the message.
Mr Ngala admitted that this was the first time someone has explained Islam to him in a detail and that he was content with what he had heard! On that day, he joined the ummah by taking his Shahada!
We pray that Allah guides him, his family, and clansmen to Islam as well.
