GROWING TOGETHER
One hot Monday afternoon, a mother and her four sons were harvesting cassava while enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air. As they were working, a team of two iERA Outreach Specialists came by and began talking to them about God’s existence, His oneness, revelation, and prophethood.
At first, the mother and her sons were skeptical. They had never considered converting to Islam before and were unsure if it was the right path for them. But as the outreach specialists continued to speak, they found themselves drawn to the peaceful and compassionate teachings of the religion and its emphasis on maintaining kinship. The outreach specialists answered all of their questions and concerns with kindness and wisdom, and before long, the mother and her sons decided to embrace Islam.
As they began to study and practice their new faith, they found a sense of peace and fulfillment that they had never experienced before. They learned how to live in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the world around them. They have also discovered a strong sense of unity and brotherhood within the Muslim community, and they felt welcomed and supported as they navigated their new way of life.
Now with a renewed sense of purpose and joy, they have found that their love for farming and their connection to each other has been strengthened by their faith in Islam. As they continue to grow and flourish, they know that they have made the right decision in embracing Islam and are grateful for the outreach specialists who introduced them to this beautiful and peaceful way of life.
